On April 14, 2022, the documentary film – “Heart for the Yellow River” and the working group of the series of activities to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Chairman Mao’s inspection of the Yellow River was officially established!
A group of communists, who have been trained by the Party and the army for many years, have been very happy about being part of this team and being able to do something useful for the society!
On the morning of April 14, Yuliang Liu, Jie Guo and director Gengchen Hu of the World Hitchhiking Day Organizing Committee reached a consensus in principle on matters related to the funding and filming of the “Heart for the Yellow River” documentary film shooting and series of activities at the “Heart for the Yellow River” shooting preparation office.
The meeting was attended by comrades Huanzhang Liu, Qinghua Han(a special actor of Chairman Mao), Zheng Li, Xu Li, Jianye Liu, Yue Liu and others.
From April 18 to 19, 2022, the general director Gengchen Hu and several members of the preparatory office of “Heart for the Yellow River” went to the management unit of the Yellow River Basin in Zhengzhou to visit the relevant departments and leaders respectively, and obtained the principle support of the relevant departments and leaders.
On April 21, 2022, World Hitchhiking Day Organizing Committee Yuliang Liu, Jie Guo and director Gengchen Hu further discussed and reached a consensus in principle on the division of tasks and details of cooperation in the development of the documentary “Heart for the Yellow River” and the series of activities at the official flagship store of World Hitchhiking Day located in Wutong Street, Rida Road, Zhengzhou. The talks were attended by comrades Qinghua Han (Chairman Mao’s special actor), Zheng Li, Xu Li, Jianye Liu and others.

On April 24, 2022, the third meeting of the documentary film “Heart for the Yellow River” shooting and series of activities preparation seminar in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of Chairman Mao’s inspection of the Yellow River was held at the shooting preparation office. The meeting communicated and discussed issues of common concern, such as investment intention, division of tasks among the participants, responsibilities and obligations, and working time nodes, and achieved agreement on principles.
The meeting was attended by comrades Yuliang Liu, Jie Guo, General Director Gengchen Hu, President Xinwei Guo, Teacher Qinghua Han(Chairman Mao’s special actor), Professor Zhongyuan Sun, Zheng Li and Jianye Liu of the World Hitchhiking Day Organizing Committee.

On April 26, 2022, Yuliang Liu, Jie Guo and Gengchen Hu reached an agreement on the filming of the “Heart for the Yellow River” documentary film and the development of a series of activities at the official flagship store of the World Hitchhiking Day Organizing Committee. The meeting was also attended by comrades Huanzhang Liu, Zhongyuan Sun, Qinghua Han (Chairman Mao’s special actor), Jianye Liu, Shan Jin and others.

On April 27, 2022, the World Hitchhiking Day Organizing Committee and General Director Gengchen Hu held a signing ceremony for the “Heart for the Yellow River” film documentary shooting and series of activities agreement at the official flagship store of World Hitchhiking Day.
Yuliang Liu and Gengchen Hu general director signed on behalf of the two partners. Also present at the signing ceremony were Jie Guo, Xuzhong Liu, Junbao Jiang, Jie Bai, Shan Jin and other relevant leaders of the World Hitchhiking Day Organizing Committee and Jianye Liu and other comrades.
